Privacy
What is stored, who it is shared with, and how to remove it. Last updated 2 September 2026.
What we store
A badge.pm profile stores your public Twitch identity, badge collection, badge history, worn badges, 7TV paint, profile settings and refresh status. A profile is created when you sign in or when someone adds your exact public Twitch username.
Twitch sign-in requests no permission scopes, including email, chat, follow or moderation access.
How we use and share it
We use public data from Twitch and badge providers to run profiles, the badge directory and the leaderboard. Profiles and leaderboard entries are public by default. We do not sell your information.
Hetzner hosts the app and database, and Cloudflare handles site traffic. Badge and avatar image hosts receive your IP address and ordinary connection details when your browser loads their images.
Site admins can access stored profiles, including private profiles, only to operate and maintain badge.pm.
Cookies
Strictly necessary authentication cookies are set during Twitch sign-in and while you remain signed in. They keep your session secure and are not used for advertising or analytics.
Your choices
Your profile controls let you:
- Leave the leaderboard while keeping your profile.
- Hide your profile. Your leaderboard row remains visible unless you also leave the leaderboard.
- Delete your account and its badges, history and sessions.
We keep profile data until the profile is deleted. After deletion, we retain only your Twitch user id and deletion date to prevent someone else from recreating it. Signing in again removes that marker and creates a new profile. Deleted data may remain in backups until they rotate out.
